The Board of Bishops serves as one of the highest ecclesiastical governing bodies within the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC) of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. Composed of duly consecrated Bishops from throughout the national and international fellowship, the Board provides spiritual oversight, doctrinal integrity, and administrative guidance to ensure the Church remains aligned with the apostolic mission and biblical foundation upon which it was established.
As spiritual shepherds and leaders, the Bishops collectively support and strengthen the Church’s infrastructure by fostering unity among clergy, promoting theological soundness, and advancing the overall mission of the COOLJC. The Board functions as a collaborative and consultative body, charged with both spiritual and organizational leadership across all levels of the Church.

The Board of Bishops is dedicated to facilitating the holistic ministry of the COOLJC, working diligently to:
Uphold Apostolic Doctrine
Safeguard the biblical teachings and apostolic standards that define our faith and identity.
Strengthen Episcopal Unity
Encourage fellowship, cooperation, and accountability among the episcopacy to promote mutual support and collective wisdom in leadership.
Advance Ministerial Development
Host regional and national workshops, classes, seminars, and symposiums to train, equip, and edify the clergy and lay leadership.
Oversees Strategic Initiatives
Plan and implement initiatives that address the evolving needs of the church and its communities.
Appoint Committees & Delegates
Establish and supervise committees, task forces, and special assignments necessary to address critical issues or ministry objectives.
Support Global Expansion
Offer counsel and leadership to international dioceses and emerging ministries as the Church continues to grow globally.
Apostolic Accountability & Vision
With a commitment to preserving the apostolic legacy of our founders, the Board of Bishops operates in accordance with the Holy Scriptures, the Constitution of the COOLJC, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Board actively collaborates with the Presiding Apostle, the Board of Apostles, and other auxiliaries to ensure the Church remains unified in doctrine, mission, and vision.

Serving all mankind is both a divine calling and a reflection of God’s love within us. When we extend kindness, compassion, and help to others, without judgment or prejudicie, we honor the truth that every soul is created in God’s image.
